Partners Steve Jennings and Tim Perks are delighted to announce the recruitment of Solicitor Andrew Milne, to the firm’s growing Conveyancing department.
Andrew, who was brought up in Aldridge, joins the firm with 20 years’ experience specialising in residential and commercial freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
Andrew said: “I am delighted to join Jennings Perks & Co and hope to be here for many years to come. Aldridge has a special place in my heart, and this is a very good opportunity for myself, and Jennings Perks, to support the local people in the business of house moving. The Conveyancing department is thriving and I hope that I can add to it.”
We have secured membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme – the mark of excellence for the home buying process, and which provides assurance to our clients.
Andrew’s life began in Aldridge, his parents Mearns and Jennifer Milne, being the local GP’s in the Portland Road surgery before their retirement a good few years ago. Indeed, Andrew’s grandfather, Dr Vic Milne, who he is proud to say played for Aston Villa in the 1920’s, also practiced as a GP in Portland Road, as well as being a keen cricketer for Aldridge.
Andrew spent his youth playing football on the famous Croft and playing hockey at the local Stick and Wicket Club. After leaving school, he ventured into law, having been put off going into medicine due to the endless sleepless nights his parents endured dealing with night calls. He qualified as a solicitor in 1995and worked in Walsall and Lichfield prior to his recruitment to Jennings Perks & Co.
